Cheese, wine, travel and good company.
We love food, wine, travel and being great hosts, so we brought them all together in our hosted evenings. Each one has a destination theme, and Ben cooks a dish to match: jerk chicken with rum punch for the Caribbean, beef bourguignon for the French Alps, a Maldivian curry for the Indian Ocean. Here's a look back at some of our favourite nights in The Travel Lounge, and the partners who joined us.

Taste of Italy
An evening dedicated to one of the world's most loved destinations, from the vineyards of Tuscany and the cliffside charm of the Amalfi Coast to Rome, Florence and Venice. Guests enjoyed Italian wine, relaxed conversation and a talk from our guest speaker, and went home with plenty of ideas for their next Italian escape.

Seychelles: Islands of Wonder
Our guest speaker from Tourism Seychelles guided us through the archipelago's most breathtaking islands, must-see experiences and hidden gems: emerald peaks, white-sand beaches, world-famous marine life and boutique island retreats. All paired with wine, conversation and a taste of Huben hospitality.

Set Sail with Explora
Our guest speaker from Explora Journeys introduced us to a new era of luxury ocean travel: spectacular ships, inspired itineraries, exceptional food on board and a focus on mindfulness at sea. Whether guests were new to cruising or seasoned ocean travellers, there was plenty to discover over good food and drinks.

An Evening with Ikos
A relaxed evening of food, drinks and inspiration as we showcased the award-winning Ikos Resorts, from the golden beaches of Halkidiki to the clear waters of Corfu and beyond. Our Ikos expert shared first-hand insights, tips and favourite spots to help guests choose the right resort for their next all-inclusive getaway.

French Alps Inspiration Evening
Thank you to Matt from Hunter Chalets for joining us and sharing his expert insight into the beautiful French Alps resorts of Morzine and Les Gets. Our guests were treated to another of Ben's delicious creations, beef bourguignon, perfectly paired with French wine and champagne. Together we explored some of the most luxurious apartments, chalets and activities in these resorts, which offer incredible access to a vast mountain range with superb skiing, all just a short journey from Geneva. And while they shine in winter, we also learned how these charming alpine villages make breathtaking summer escapes too.

Caribbean Inspiration Evening
The theme this time: the Caribbean! We had a fantastic turnout of guests who enjoyed Ben's delicious spicy jerk chicken, paired beautifully with rum punch. The lovely Anna joined us to showcase a selection of stunning hotels and resorts across some of the Caribbean's most iconic islands, including Antigua, Barbuda, Barbados, St Lucia and Turks and Caicos. As always, it was a wonderful evening filled with sunshine vibes, travel inspiration and plenty of friendly new faces.

Indian Ocean Inspiration Evening
We were delighted to be joined by Michelle from Constance Hotels and Resorts, who told us about some truly breathtaking resorts across the Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar and Rodrigues. From up-close encounters with stingrays to the role of the Turtle Manager (a dreamy job!) at Constance Lemuria in the Seychelles, it was a very inspiring evening. The sunshine let us make the most of our Travel Lounge courtyard, and guests were treated to Ben's absolutely delicious Maldivian curry.

Cruise Information Evening
Our guests enjoyed a wonderful and informative talk from Lucy at Silversea. We heard about classic cruises to over 900 different destinations and expedition cruises to the Galapagos and Antarctica, plus what to expect from the luxurious lifestyle on board. Guests enjoyed champagne and nibbles, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

Safari Inspiration Evening
This was our first hosted event in our Travel Lounge, which made it an extra special evening for us. Guests enjoyed a charcuterie plate and South African wine while hearing from our expert guest speaker about her 30 years of working and travelling around Africa, and how she curates dream safari holidays using her wealth of first-hand knowledge.

Cheese, wine and cruise holiday inspiration
After the success of our first cheese and wine evening, we returned to The Grape Variety in Chipstead for an evening all about cruises. Our guests enjoyed a complimentary cheese board and wines while we talked through the different cruise holiday options. We were joined by experts from Uniworld and Silversea, and Ben shared his experience of sailing with Cunard.

We held a cheese and wine tasting evening at The Grape Variety in Chipstead. The wines (and cheese board) were delicious, we enjoyed advice from their wine experts, and Ben gave a talk about his favourite holiday recommendations and what made them so special.
