We love cheese, wine, travel and being great hosts! So we decided that there was no better way to combine these things than with our hosted events. It’s always a delight for us when we get to greet old faces, meet news ones and welcome the community with a glass of wine or two, whilst having a fun and relaxed evening centred around the topic of travel!

Indian Ocean Inspiration Evening
June 2025
We were delighted to be joined by Michelle from Constance Hotels & Resorts, where we learned about some truly breathtaking resorts across Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar and Rodrigues. From hearing about upclose encounters with stingrays in the Indian Ocean to learning about the role of the Turtle Manager (a dreamy job!) in Constance Lemuria in Seychelles, we all enjoyed a very inspiring evening. The beautiful sunshine allowed us to make the most out of our Travel Lounge courtyard, and guests were treated to Ben’s absolutely delicious Maldivian curry for what was an all-round enjoyable and relaxed evening.
Cruise Information Evening
March 2025
Our guests enjoyed a wonderful and informative talk from Lucy at Silversea cruises for our Cruise Information event. We heard about classic cruises to over 900 different destinations, expedition cruises to Galapagos and Antarctica, plus learning about what to expect from the luxurious lifestyle onboard the ships and extraordinary holiday life at sea. Guests enjoyed champagne and nibbles, and were given plenty of opportunity to ask questions and enjoy personal interactions.
Safari Inspiration Evening
February 2025
This was our first hosted event in our Travel Lounge making this an extra special evening for us. Guests enjoyed a charcuterie plate and South African wine while hearing from our expert guest speaker on her 30 years experience working and travelling around Africa, plus her extensive experience in curating the dream safari holidays to Africa to incorporate the very best from each and every destination and itinerary using all her wealth of first-hand knowledge and expertise.
Cheese, wine & cruise holiday inspiration
March 2023
After the success of our first cheese and wine evening, we returned to The Grape Variety in Chipstead for an evening all about cruises. Our guests enjoyed a complimentary cheese board and wines and we gave a talk about all the different cruise holiday options. We were joined by experts from Uniworld and Silversea, plus Ben gave a talk about his experience of sailing with Cunard. Guests on the night got up to £400 off a cruise, too!
Cheese, wine & holiday inspiration
November 2022
We held a cheese and wine evening at The Grape Variety in Chipstead and treated our guests to a cheese and wine tasting evening. The wines (and cheese board) were delicious, we enjoyed advice from their wine experts and Ben have a talk about his holiday recommendations and what made them so special!
