Our take
Family freedom by the marina
Porto Sani sits moments from the lively Sani Marina, with its suites set around two lagoon-style pools, two more pools designed just for children and a toddler splash pad, plus your own stretch of sand at Sea You beach. Every suite has family touches, and the bigger ones have private gardens or a heated pool of their own.
For summer 2027, 119 brand-new suites join its 148 refurbished ones, centred on a new family pool. There are four restaurants at the hotel, including El Puerto, where acclaimed chef Andoni Luis Aduriz brings his take on Basque and Spanish cooking, and on half or full board you can Dine Around 24 restaurants across the resort.
Choose Porto Sani if you're travelling with babies or toddlers: every room is a suite, with space for cots and naps, and the splash pad, children's pools, crèche and Donna Hay food stations at Artemis are all at the hotel. Sani Marina's restaurants are a short stroll away for evenings out. Families with older, sporty children may prefer Sani Beach, home to the academies, while couples will find Sani Club or Sani Dunes quieter.
A couple of things to know: the crèche is charged by the session, and the Ozone teen club and Sani's academies are elsewhere on the resort, at Sani Marina and Sani Beach.

What we tell every guest
- Go half board or full board so you can Dine Around: set menus at 12 restaurants at no extra cost, including El Puerto and Elia, or a meal allowance towards à la carte at any of 24.
- El Puerto, Elia, Lima and Artemis all need reservations, so we book your tables before you fly.
- Porto Sani guests can have a complimentary session with Carol Mae Baby Consulting, so ask us to arrange it before you travel.
- Travel light with little ones: prams, cots, bottle sterilisers, baby monitors and white noise machines are all available on request, and we arrange them before you arrive.
- For a treat, ask for the Deluxe One Bedroom Suite Grand Balcony: it's on the upper floor, with a large private balcony looking over the yachts in Sani Marina.

Good to know
- On Dine Around, Porto Sani guests have a meal allowance of €25 per person (€12.50 per child) towards à la carte, deducted from the bill. Booking ahead is highly recommended.
- Children under 12 stay free at Porto Sani, and we'll confirm the terms for your dates when we quote.
- The crèche (six months to four years) costs €42 a session, or €32 for the 13:00 to 15:00 session. The Sani Explorers Kids Club for 4 to 12 year olds is complimentary.
- Complimentary extras include a welcome bottle of Sani wine, daily boat cruises from Sani Marina, and yoga, Pilates and aqua aerobics classes.
- Spa treatments are extra. The Spa Suite pool is free for guests aged 16 and over, and under 16s can swim with an adult during Splash Hours, from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 18:00.

Where you'll stay
Porto Sani is all suites: 267 of them across thirteen suite types, including 119 new suites arriving for summer 2027 around a new family pool. Six suite types belong to the Sani Suite Collection, which adds an e-concierge team before you arrive, your own area on the beach, priority booking for dining and activities and, new for 2026, complimentary Kids' Supper Club sessions. With a baby or toddler we'd choose a One Bedroom Suite Private Garden, so naps happen in a separate bedroom while you sit out in your own garden. Bigger families should look at the Three Bedroom Family Suite Grand Balcony, or the Three Bedroom Family Suite Private Pool for a heated pool of your own.

El Puerto
Basque and Spanish cooking under the curatorial guidance of chef Andoni Luis Aduriz: share tapas at the bar or dine à la carte on the veranda, looking over the Porto Sani pools. Dinner, and reservations are required.
Elia
A modern take on Greek cooking, served al fresco, with a wine list to match. Breakfast and dinner, and dinner needs a reservation.
Lima
Peruvian and Nikkei dishes on a spacious veranda overlooking Porto Sani. Dinner, and reservations are required.
Artemis
International cooking al fresco, with children's food stations serving dishes created by Donna Hay. Breakfast and dinner, and reservations are required.
Sea Breeze and Sani Marina
Sea Breeze is the poolside bar, from smoothies by day to cocktails at night. A short stroll away, Sani Marina adds restaurants from Greek to Italian and Japanese.
Dine Around: on half or full board, choose the Dine Around menus at 12 restaurants at no extra cost, including El Puerto and Elia, or order à la carte at any of 24 and your meal allowance comes off the bill. There are vegan, gluten-free and children's Dine Around menus too.
Our tip: Book El Puerto for a sunset dinner on the veranda, looking over the Porto Sani pools; it's on the Dine Around set menus, so half and full board guests pay nothing extra.
Kids & families
Made for young families
Porto Sani has two lagoon-style pools, two pools designed just for children, a toddler splash pad, its own crèche and kids' club, and suites furnished with family touches. Children's menus are created by Donna Hay. With a baby or toddler, everything you need is at the hotel: the splash pad and children's pools, the crèche from six months, and Artemis, where Donna Hay's children's food stations make breakfast and dinner easy. Book crèche sessions before you fly.
Sani Crèche, 6 months to 4 years
Three sessions a day, seven days a week, with ratios of one adult to three children for under twos. €42 for 10:00 to 13:00 or 15:00 to 18:00, and €32 for 13:00 to 15:00. Book before you travel.
Sani Explorers Kids Club, 4 to 12 years
Complimentary, with morning, lunchtime and afternoon sessions: Mini-Olympic Games, nature explorations and water games.
Supper Club, 4 to 12 years
Dinner and activities for three hours, at €30 per child, bookable in advance.
Carol Mae Baby Consulting
Porto Sani guests can have a complimentary session with Carol Mae's consultants, who create a tailored guide to adjusting your little one's sleep and routine while you're away.
Ozone Teen Club, 12 to 17 years
A complimentary clubhouse at Sani Marina, open from 10:00 to 22:00. Some organised activities are charged.
Academies
The Chelsea FC football academy from age 4, the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center from age 5, and the Bear Grylls Survival Academy, free of charge from April to October, all at Sani Beach. Ask us for football and tennis academy prices and we'll include them in your quote.
Baby kit
Prams, cots, bottle sterilisers, baby monitors and white noise machines on request, plus complimentary babysitting sessions by the sea. Evening babysitters cost €15 an hour from 18:30.
For an easy family evening, take the pram to Sani Marina for an ice cream on the Piazza, and on another night book an evening babysitter (€15 an hour from 18:30) so you can enjoy a grown-up dinner.

Spa and wellness
The Spa Suite uses Anne Semonin Paris products, including the Gold Rush range, with a heated indoor pool, a steam room, sauna, emotion shower and ice bucket shower, five treatment rooms and a couples' suite. Open daily from 08:00 to 20:00. Treatments are extra, and there's a junior spa menu for guests aged 12 and over.
Pools and beach
Heated lagoon-style pools a few steps from the beach, more pools for quiet time, your own stretch of sand at Sea You beach, and complimentary boat cruises from Sani Marina every morning and evening.
Sani Marina and beyond
An ice cream on the marina's lively Piazza, waterfront restaurants and boutiques a short stroll away, complimentary yoga, Pilates and aqua aerobics, and the academies at Sani Beach.
