Our take

The secluded side of Sani

Sani Club sits at the far end of Sani Resort, among ancient olive groves and pine forest, with a soft white sand beach right on the doorstep. Its rooms and suites have been redesigned in calm, natural tones, and some of the bungalow suites have their own private pools and gardens.

There are five restaurants at the Club itself, from Cabana at the water's edge to Ouzerie under the pines, and on half or full board you can Dine Around 24 restaurants across the resort. A walkable promenade, with club cars on hand, links the Club to the rest of Sani.

Choose Sani Club if peace matters most. It's the most secluded of the five hotels, at the far end of the resort among olive groves and pines, with the beach right outside and bungalow suites, some with their own pools. It suits couples and families with younger children who are happy to stay put, with club cars on hand for trips to Sani Marina. If you'd like more buzz on your doorstep, Sani Beach or Porto Sani will suit you better.

A couple of things to know: the crèche is charged by the session, and the Ozone teen club and the Bear Grylls Survival Academy are elsewhere on the resort, at Sani Marina and Sani Beach.

What we tell every guest

  • Go half board or full board so you can Dine Around: set menus at 12 restaurants at no extra cost, or a meal allowance towards à la carte at any of 24.
  • The Club's à la carte restaurants need dinner reservations, so we book your tables before you fly.
  • Travel light with little ones: prams, cots, bottle sterilisers, baby monitors and white noise machines are all available on request, and we arrange them before you arrive.
  • Book crèche sessions before you travel.
  • Book Cabana for at least one dinner: French Mediterranean cooking at the water's edge, and as it's on the Dine Around set menus, half and full board guests pay nothing extra.

Rooms & suites

Where you'll stay

Sani Club's rooms and suites have been redesigned in soft, natural tones. The bungalow suites and the new two-bedroom suites belong to the Sani Suite Collection, which adds an e-concierge team before you arrive, your own area on the beach and priority booking for restaurants and activities. With young children we'd choose the Junior Suite Private Garden, with its own ground-floor garden, or a One Bedroom Bungalow Suite Private Garden for a separate bedroom. Couples should ask for the Junior Suite Grand Balcony and its sea views, or a One Bedroom Bungalow Suite Private Pool Sea View for a pool of their own.

Dining

Five restaurants, and 24 on Dine Around

Cabana

French Mediterranean at the water's edge, inspired by the Provençal cooking of the Côte d'Azur. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Club Lounge

A modern take on Italian classics, with views over the Aegean, Sani Bay and Mount Olympus. Lunch and dinner.

Ouzerie

Traditional Greek, with sharing platters and a focus on fresh fish and seafood. Lunch and dinner.

Pines

Farm to table: modern Greek cooking with ingredients from small local producers. Breakfast and dinner.

Olympos

The buffet, with Greek and Mediterranean dishes and an open kitchen, plus Italian and Asian evenings twice a week. Breakfast and dinner.

Main Bar

Cocktails with views over the bay, and a lovely spot for sunset or a drink after dinner.

Dine Around: on half or full board, choose the Dine Around menus at 12 restaurants at no extra cost, or order à la carte at any of 24 and your meal allowance comes off the bill. There are vegan, gluten-free and children's Dine Around menus too.

Our tip: Book Club Lounge for dinner on a clear evening, when the views stretch across Sani Bay to Mount Olympus, and save Ouzerie for a long lunch of Greek seafood under the pines.

Kids & families

Something for every age

Sani Club has its own crèche and kids' club, a sprawling heated pool with its own children's area, and children's menus created by Donna Hay. With young children, the Club's quieter pace is a real plus: the crèche, the kids' club and the heated pool's children's area are all here, so you only need a club car for the academies or Sani Marina.

Sani Crèche, 6 months to 4 years

Three sessions a day, seven days a week, with ratios of one adult to three children for under twos. €42 for 10:00 to 13:00 or 15:00 to 18:00, and €32 for 13:00 to 15:00. Book before you travel.

Sani Explorers Kids Club, 4 to 12 years

Complimentary, with morning, lunchtime and afternoon sessions: nature explorations, water games and Mini-Olympics.

Supper Club, 4 to 12 years

Dinner and activities for three hours, at €30 per child, bookable in advance.

Ozone Teen Club, 12 to 17 years

A complimentary clubhouse at Sani Marina, open from 10:00 to 22:00. Some organised activities are charged.

Academies

The Chelsea FC Football Academy from age 4, the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center from age 5, and the Bear Grylls Survival Academy at Sani Beach, free of charge from April to October. Ask us for football and tennis academy prices and we'll include them in your quote.

Baby kit

Prams, cots, bottle sterilisers, baby monitors and white noise machines on request, plus complimentary babysitting sessions by the sea. Evening babysitters cost €15 an hour from 18:30.

A family running hand in hand along the water's edge at sunset on a Sani beach

Book Supper Club for the over fours, or an evening babysitter for little ones (€15 an hour from 18:30), on at least one night, so you can enjoy a grown-up dinner while the children are looked after.

Spa & activities

Relax, play and explore

A daybed beneath a plane tree in the garden of the Club Spa, surrounded by flowers and stone walls

The Club Spa uses Anne Semonin Paris products, with a hammam, two saunas, a plunge pool, a couples' suite and a Thai massage room. Open daily from 08:00 to 20:00. Treatments are extra, and there's a junior spa menu for 12 to 16 year olds.
