Our take

Sleek and sophisticated

Sani Dunes is all clean lines and contemporary, low-rise architecture, with a grown-up atmosphere to match. Its rooms and suites sit around a 3,500 m² heated lagoon pool, the largest in Greece, so the water is almost on your doorstep, and the beach front suites are just a few metres from the hotel's exclusively serviced beach.

Dinner is a highlight. Fresco serves Italian cooking by Michelin-starred chef Ettore Botrini, The Market is a relaxed brasserie, and Beach House brings a Saint-Tropez beach club feel to the sand. On half or full board you can Dine Around 24 restaurants across the resort, and the boutiques and nightlife of Sani Marina are close by.

Choose Sani Dunes over the other four if you want a contemporary, grown-up feel, with the lagoon pool on your doorstep and Sani Marina close by for evenings out. It suits couples, friends and families with older children, and it's a gentler price than a residence at Sani Asterias. With babies or toddlers, we'd usually point you to Porto Sani or Sani Beach instead, where the crèche and kids' club are on site.

A couple of things to know: children don't stay free here as they do at Sani Club, Sani Beach and Porto Sani, but the first two children under 12 get 85% off. The Ozone teen club is at nearby Sani Marina, and the crèche and kids' club are at Sani Beach, Sani Club and Porto Sani.

What we tell every guest

  • Go half board or full board so you can Dine Around: set menus at 12 restaurants at no extra cost, The Market among them, or a meal allowance towards à la carte at any of 24.
  • Fresco, The Market and Beach House all need dinner reservations, so we book your tables before you fly.
  • Pick your view: gardens and the lagoon pool, a side sea view, the beach front, or the yachts of Sani Marina from a Marina Double.
  • Before dinner, try the Fresco Wine Bar on the upper floor of the main building, with wines from boutique wineries.
  • For value, the Double Room Private Garden has its own 30 m² garden terrace. Step up to a Deluxe Junior Suite Private Garden Side Sea View for a 40 m² garden with sun loungers and a glimpse of the Aegean.

Rooms & suites

Where you'll stay

Every room and suite at Sani Dunes is contemporary and low-rise, and Sani promises the calming presence of water from each one: the lagoon pool, the Aegean or, from the Marina Doubles, Sani Marina. Four of the deluxe suites belong to the Sani Suite Collection, which adds a dedicated concierge before you arrive, your own area on the beach, priority booking for restaurants and activities and, new for 2026, complimentary private airport transfers. With young children, we'd choose the Deluxe Family Suite Private Garden Beach Front: two junior suites with an interconnecting door, two bathrooms and the hotel's beach a few metres away. For couples, the Deluxe One Bedroom Suite Grand Balcony Beach Front, with a 30 m² balcony and spectacular Aegean views.

Kids & families

Something for every age

Sani Dunes has a grown-up feel, but families are very welcome, with family rooms and suites that join two rooms with an interconnecting door, and children's menus created by Donna Hay. With young children, we'd book one of the four Sani Suite Collection suites. Sani currently includes complimentary transfers around the resort, handy for the crèche and kids' club at Sani Beach, Sani Club and Porto Sani, plus complimentary Kids' Supper Club sessions, subject to availability.

Sani Crèche, 6 months to 4 years

Fully equipped childcare run by Sani's own team, following UK Ofsted guidelines, and charged by the session. Book before you travel. It runs at Sani Beach, Sani Club and Porto Sani, at €42 a session, or €32 for 13:00 to 15:00.

Sani Explorers Kids Club, 4 to 12 years

Complimentary, with activities every morning and afternoon, from exploring the pine forest to learning new skills and making new friends.

Supper Club, 4 to 12 years

Dinner and activities for three hours, at €30 per child, bookable in advance.

Ozone Teen Club, 12 to 17 years

A complimentary clubhouse at Sani Marina, with everything from hip hop dancing to beach volleyball.

Academies

The Chelsea FC Football Academy from age 4, the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center from age 5, and the Bear Grylls Survival Academy at Sani Beach. Ask us for football and tennis academy prices and we'll include them in your quote.

Baby kit

Prams, cots, bottle sterilisers, baby monitors and white noise machines on request, so you can travel light. Babysitters and private nannies can be booked.

Book a babysitter when we confirm your stay if you'd like a grown-up dinner at Fresco, and tell us what baby kit you need, from a cot to a steriliser, so it's arranged before you arrive.
