Our take

A peninsula of its own

Ikos Odisia is settled within 60 acres of lush greenery on a secluded bay on Corfu's east coast, just across from Ikos Dassia and 20 minutes from the airport. There are ten heated pools, separate splash parks for children and an exclusively serviced, honey-coloured sandy beach.

For 2026 it adds Deluxe Three and Four Bedroom Bungalow Villas with private pools and sea views, designed for larger, multi-generational families. The eight restaurants include Oliva, by two-Michelin-starred chef Andoni Luis Aduriz, and Azul, a Peruvian restaurant in a lush open-air setting.

Of the Corfu pair, Ikos Odisia is the one we'd choose for space and for big families: it covers 60 acres to Ikos Dassia's 25, every one bedroom suite is 70 m² or more, and the new three and four bedroom villas, open now, sleep up to eight. It also has ten heated pools, separate splash parks for children, and Oliva and Azul, which you won't find at Dassia. If a long sandy beach matters most, Ikos Dassia is the better fit.

What we tell every guest

  • Travelling as a big family? The new Deluxe Three and Four Bedroom Villas sleep up to seven and eight, each with a private pool.
  • With young children, the Family Room Pool View has interconnecting rooms and sleeps up to five.
  • Every one bedroom suite here is 70 m² or more, so there's space to spread out without the villa price.
  • In the Deluxe Collection you can reserve restaurants in advance, so you can plan your evenings before you fly.
  • For a family who want their own pool without booking a whole villa, ask about the Deluxe Two Bedroom Bungalow Suite Private Pool: 100 m², two bedrooms and sea views.

Rooms & suites

Where you'll stay

Seventeen room types, in three groups, all in soft neutral tones and natural materials. The Deluxe Collection adds a dedicated concierge, its own pool and bar, unlimited restaurant reservations in advance and two neck and back massages per suite or villa per stay. With young children, we'd choose the One Bedroom Suite Private Garden, with a separate bedroom and doors straight out to your garden. Couples should look at the Deluxe Junior Bungalow Suite Private Garden, and ask for the sea view.

Dining

Eight restaurants, seven bars

Fresco

Italian, à la carte, guided by Michelin-starred chef Ettore Botrini.

Oliva

Spanish, à la carte, curated by two-Michelin-starred chef Andoni Luis Aduriz.

Anaya

Aromatic Asia, from Thailand to China, by Chef Thiou, served inside or on the Anaya balcony.

Azul

Peruvian, in a lush open-air setting with sweeping views.

Ouzo and Elia

Two Greek restaurants: modern Greek in a romantic open-air setting, and al fresco Elia, with fresh takes on family favourites and an exquisite wine list.

Sea Grill

A barbecue kiosk on the sand, grilling seafood, meat and vegetables in front of you.

Flavors

The Mediterranean buffet, overlooking the coast and the Ionian Sea.

The bars: a Lobby Bar, Beach Bar, Teatro and four pool bars, one of them for Deluxe Collection guests only. If you're pre-booking dinners, start with al fresco Elia, for fresh takes on Greek family favourites, then add Azul, whose Peruvian menu makes a welcome change from the Mediterranean.

Dine Out: for a night away from the resort, eat at a local restaurant at no extra cost. At the moment that's Dora Fish Tavern at Corfu's New Port, Agora Restaurant at the Old Port, or Aubergine on Spianada Square.

Kids & families

Built for families

Ikos runs its Heroes clubs to UK Ofsted standards, and Ikos Odisia adds separate splash parks for children alongside its ten heated pools. Between crèche sessions, the separate splash parks are an easy way to keep little ones busy, and older siblings can book the included Heroes Kids Club or, for sporty 4 to 12 year olds, the Football Academy.

Heroes Crèche, 6 months to 4 years

Sessions from 10:00 to 13:00, 13:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 18:00. One adult to three children for under twos. €42 a session, or €32 for 13:00 to 15:00.

Heroes Kids Club, 4 to 12 years

Included in your stay, with sessions from 10:30 to 13:00, 13:00 to 15:00 and 15:30 to 18:00.

Heroes Supper Club, 4 to 12 years

19:00 to 22:00, €30 per child, included for Deluxe Collection guests.

Older children

Just4Teens for 12 and over, a Football Academy for 4 to 12 year olds (€20 to €25 a session) and week-long Football Escapes camps for 5 to 15 year olds.

Baby kit

Baby monitors, baby sets and pram hire on request, and babysitting at an extra charge.

Children can start at the crèche from six months, but the clubs really pay off from four, when the Heroes Kids Club is included. Ikos advises booking all childcare before you arrive, so we'd reserve sessions early, particularly for July and August.

Spa & activities

Relax, play and explore

A guest resting her head on a rolled towel at the edge of a spa pool

Spa and wellness

The Ikos Spa by Anne Semonin Paris is open daily from 08:00 to 20:00 and free for adults to use, with a heated indoor pool looking out to the Ionian, a steam bath and sauna, and a fitness studio. Treatments are extra.

Loungers and parasols on a quiet sandy beach shaded by an olive tree and palms, with calm blue water beyond

Sport and the sea

Three floodlit tennis courts, complimentary bikes, yoga and Pilates, plus paddleboarding and pedalos for 30 minutes a day, canoeing and introductory diving in the pool. Motorised watersports are extra.

Aerial view of Ikos Odisia spread across a wooded headland on Corfu

Local discovery

An electric MINI Countryman for a day, two in the Deluxe Collection, plus a Culture Pass with entry to the Museum of Asian Art and the Old Fortress in Corfu Town, and a morning round at Corfu Golf Club once per stay.
