For every couple
The hotels and moments we would choose for you
Every couple is welcome with us. We will match you with hotels where you feel completely at home, add the little surprises that make a trip unforgettable and give you honest, practical advice before you go.
Tell us what romance looks like to you, whether that is a private island, a plunge pool with a sunset view or a table for two on the sand, and we will take it from there.
Where to honeymoon
Our honeymoon favourites
Jumby Bay Island
The ultimate honeymoon: a private island, bikes for two and long, lazy beach lunches.
Hermitage Bay
Intimate and peaceful, with hillside plunge pools and sunset views made for two.
Carlisle Bay
Barefoot luxury and four restaurants, so every night feels like date night.
Curtain Bluff
Classic and all-inclusive, with a superb wine cellar for long dinners under the stars.
Prefer adults only? Galley Bay, Hammock Cove, Cocobay and Keyonna Beach are all lovely options, and we know which rooms to ask for.
Moments for two
Little things, big memories
Dinner on the sand
A private table on the beach, lit by lanterns, with your own waiter. We arrange it with your hotel.
Sunset for two
Watch the sky turn pink from Valley Church Beach, or join the party at Shirley Heights with a driver waiting.
Your own catamaran
Sail the coast, swim off the back of the boat and picnic in a bay with no one else around.
Celebrated from day one
Tell us what you are celebrating and we will let your hotel know, so there is always a little something waiting for you.
Planning a honeymoon or anniversary?
Tell us about your plans and we'll suggest the perfect hotel and the little touches to go with it.
Weddings and vow renewals
Saying "I do" in Antigua
A barefoot ceremony on the sand, a sunset vow renewal or an intimate elopement. Many of our favourite hotels have dedicated wedding teams, and we will coordinate everything with them for you.
- With a special licence there is no residency period, so you can marry a day or two after you arrive.
- You both apply in person at the Ministry of Legal Affairs in St John's, with your passports and proof that you are free to marry.
- You will need two witnesses. Your hotel can usually help.
- Licence and registration fees apply. We will confirm the latest costs and paperwork when you book.
Good to know
Antigua does not currently register same-sex marriages. Many couples marry legally at home first, then celebrate in Antigua with a blessing, commitment ceremony or vow renewal. We will help you plan it, recommend hotels where you will feel truly welcome and share honest local tips before you travel.
