Huben is us · We are Hugh and Ben
Welcome to Huben
Long before Huben, we were the friends everyone called for travel advice. In 2019 we made it our purpose, and since then we've planned holidays all over the world for guests who come back to us year after year.
We've stayed in the hotels, sailed with the cruise lines and tried the experiences we recommend, from Antigua's quietest beaches to the overwater villas of the Maldives. That first-hand knowledge, and the relationships we've built with hotels and partners around the world, is what turns a good holiday into an unforgettable one.
What began in a cosy pub in the Cotswolds is now an award-winning agency, with our own Travel Lounge in Cobham, a concierge team in North Yorkshire, Ikos Prestige Club membership, Black Pineapple Awards for Antigua in 2024 and 2025, and Ben named Luxury Travel Designer of the Year (in-store) in 2026. Using us costs you nothing, and you'll have experts looking after every detail, wherever you are in the world.

Your travel | Your way | Anywhere in the world
Travel is our world
From sun-drenched shorelines and extraordinary safari camps to ancient cities and snow-dusted mountain retreats, the world is full of breathtaking places, and we know exactly how to get you there.
We take the time to get it right
The right hotel can define an entire holiday. We don't believe in off-the-shelf trips: every itinerary is designed from scratch, shaped by a conversation about what matters most to you. Whether you have a hotel in mind or just a notion, we'll turn it into something extraordinary.
Tours, adventures and multi-centre trips
Track the Great Migration across the Serengeti, explore the souks of Marrakech, pair the beaches of Sri Lanka with the islands of the Maldives, or cross Japan by bullet train. We build multi-centre itineraries that flow beautifully from one extraordinary place to the next.
Honeymoons and special celebrations
A once-in-a-lifetime occasion deserves a once-in-a-lifetime journey. From romantic hideaways in the Seychelles to private island escapes in the Caribbean, we add the personal touches that make memories you'll talk about for years.

Twelve months | A world of inspiration
A year of inspiration
Let us take the guesswork out of planning. Here are some of our personal picks for every month of the year.

Our picks for
January
Maldives
The Maldives at its absolute finest. The dry season is in full swing, the trade winds keep the air warm without feeling oppressive, and the visibility underwater is extraordinary. The right atoll makes all the difference.
New York
The post-Christmas lull means the city is at its most local. Restaurant reservations are suddenly available, Broadway is running some of its strongest shows and the Central Park ice rink is calling.
Sri Lanka
The jewel of Sri Lanka's calendar. The south and west coasts are at their sunniest, the Cultural Triangle is fully accessible and blue whales gather off Mirissa in astonishing numbers.

Our picks for
February
Antigua
The absolute peak of the season: around 28 degrees, cooling trade winds and very little rain. We work closely with Blue Waters Resort and Spa, and can arrange benefits you simply can't get by booking direct.
The Seychelles
Warm seas, light winds and islands at their lushest, with tropical showers that come and go. Mahé and Praslin are the obvious choices, but the real secret is La Digue, a barefoot island where the bicycle is still king.
Lisbon
One of Europe's most underrated city breaks. Around 15 degrees, winter sunshine, almost no queues at the viewpoints, and Fado houses at their most atmospheric.

Our picks for
March
Costa Rica
The height of the dry season. The Pacific coast is at its sunniest, the national park roads are passable and the wildlife is extraordinary, from howler monkeys to nesting sea turtles.
New Zealand
Early autumn brings settled days and thinner crowds, Central Otago's vineyards are heavy with fruit as the harvest gets under way, and shoulder-season rates have kicked in. Queenstown, Milford Sound and Lake Wanaka at their most relaxed.
Norway
One of the finest months in the world to chase the Northern Lights. Base yourself in Tromsø, then sail the Norwegian coast and wake to a new fjord each morning.

Our picks for
April
Vietnam
One of the last really comfortable months to travel the length of the country, from the misty mountains of Sapa through the charm of Hoi An to the energy of Ho Chi Minh City. The food alone is worth the journey.
Amalfi Coast
Lemon trees in full blossom, hillsides covered in wildflowers and restaurants newly reopened with spring menus, without a fraction of the July crowds.
The Galápagos Islands
The warm season is at its peak: calm, clear water, extraordinary snorkelling, playful sea lions and the first green sea turtle hatchlings scurrying down the beaches.

Our picks for
May
Croatia
Our favourite month for the Dalmatian Coast. Walk Dubrovnik's city walls in relative peace, discover Split, then island-hop to Hvar, Korčula and Mljet.
Tuscany and Umbria
Italy before Italy gets busy. Hilltop towns, a private villa with a view, and across the border in Umbria, the first summer black truffles from the start of June.
Borneo
Ancient rainforest, orangutans in the trees above a river cruise and pygmy elephants in family groups, just ahead of peak season.

Our picks for
June
Greek Islands
The Cyclades are reliably sunny, the sea is warming and the Meltemi wind hasn't yet arrived in force. Explore Milos, Folegandros and Naxos before the crowds.
Canada: the Rockies
Waterfalls at their most powerful, the first wildflowers in the valleys around Banff and Jasper, and Lake Louise and Moraine Lake newly free of ice and turning turquoise.
Iceland
The land of the midnight sun. Waterfalls, lava fields and glaciers in endless golden light, with puffin colonies and the remote Westfjords to discover.

Our picks for
July
Tanzania: the Great Migration
From mid-July the herds reach the northern Serengeti and the first Mara River crossings begin, one of the great wildlife spectacles on the planet. We pair it with Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and the Zanzibar coast.
Montenegro
The breathtaking Bay of Kotor, the wild beaches of the Budva Riviera and the mountains of Durmitor National Park. It doesn't feel like the rest of Europe, and that's why we love it.
French Riviera
Nice, Antibes, Cannes and Saint-Tropez. Base yourself in one beautiful villa or boutique hotel and explore the coast by boat or train.

Our picks for
August
Albania
One of the Mediterranean's best-kept secrets. August is high season on the Albanian Riviera, so we'd head by private boat to coves you can't reach by road, then inland to unhurried hilltop villages, and south to the UNESCO ruins of Butrint, best explored early in the morning.
St Lucia
Lush, green and quieter in the low season, with the twin Pitons rising sheer from the sea. Rainforest hideaways, private yacht charters and snorkelling in the marine reserve. August falls in hurricane season, so we book flexible rates and make sure your cover is right.
Victoria Falls
The falls are still in fine flow, with clearer views than in high water, rafting below at its best and outstanding game viewing as the dry season draws wildlife to the waterholes.

Our picks for
September
Slovenia
The summer crowds have thinned and the first hints of autumn colour touch the Julian Alps. Lake Bled, the turquoise Soča valley, the caves of Postojna and charming Ljubljana.
Morocco
The souks of Marrakech are vibrant, the heat has eased and the late light on the medina is extraordinary. A riad, a night in an Atlas kasbah, then a Sahara desert camp.
Bali
The dry season. Vivid green rice terraces around Ubud, clifftop luxury in Uluwatu and excellent surf on the Bukit Peninsula, with fewer crowds than high summer.

Our picks for
October
South Africa
Spring in the Kruger brings exceptional game viewing at the end of the dry season. Add Cape Town, the Winelands, southern right whales and their calves off Hermanus, and a slow drive along the Garden Route.
Cyprus
A perfect 25 to 27 degrees, the sea still beautifully warm and the island wonderfully peaceful. We love Paphos, its Roman mosaics and the Troodos wine villages.
Japan
The koyo begins in the mountains: Nikko, the Japanese Alps and Hokkaido turn red, amber and gold, and the ryokans feel at their most atmospheric. Kyoto's temple gardens follow in the second half of November.

Our picks for
November
Thailand
As the monsoon retreats from the north and the Andaman coast, Bangkok and Chiang Mai are at their best and Krabi gets better as the month goes on. Khao Sok's rainforest, home to the floating tented camp at Elephant Hills, is at its most lush, with some showers still likely. Save Koh Samui for the new year.
Bora Bora
A lagoon of turquoise, jade and deep blue around a volcanic peak. Warm and quieter as the humid season begins, so the overwater bungalows are easier to secure and rates are lower.
Kenya: the Masai Mara
Brief afternoon showers, lush green landscapes and exceptional game viewing, with quieter camps and more attractive prices.

Our picks for
December
Lapland
Reindeer, huskies, log cabins and the moment a child realises Father Christmas is real. Add a night in a glass-roofed igloo for the Northern Lights, and book early.
Christmas river cruise
Wake each morning in a different Christmas market along the Rhine, Danube or Mosel, with mulled wine, twinkling lights and nothing to organise.
Barbados
A classic Caribbean Christmas on the calm Platinum Coast, with barbecues on the sand, rum punch at sunset and a warm welcome that keeps guests coming back.
Ikos and Sani | Luxury without compromise
Proud to be
Ikos Prestige Club members and Sani Ambassadors
Statuses awarded to agents who show a deep understanding and first-hand knowledge of the resorts.
Ikos is the resort collection we're asked about most, and for good reason. Eight stunning resorts across Greece and Spain share one philosophy: effortless luxury. Menus by Michelin-starred chefs, sommelier-selected wines and even a day's use of an electric MINI are all included. It's somewhere we return to with our own families, year after year.
Sani Resort, Ikos's sister in Halkidiki, is a different kind of special: five hotels on a 1,000-acre private nature reserve, with its own marina, Blue Flag beaches and more than 20 restaurants to explore.
As Ikos Prestige Club members and Sani Ambassadors, we can offer priority access to exclusive offers, tailored advice to match you with the perfect resort, and the extra touches that elevate your stay. Ikos Deluxe Collection stays of five nights or more include a free Ikos airport transfer, Sani deluxe stays include transfers too, and we'll pre-book yours.

Our concierge servicesA few favourite moments
We stay one step ahead
When a rerouted flight meant a young family would arrive long after dinner service had finished, we called the hotel and arranged a late meal to be waiting for them. Not because it was in the package, but because it was the right thing to do.
We genuinely care
For one recently widowed guest, a first solo trip was a daunting prospect. We quietly made sure every supplier along the way knew to look out for her, and she came home not just happy, but ready for her next adventure.
Paws included
It's not just humans who travel in style. We arranged for a guest's dog to fly by private jet from LA, with its very own crew member!
Nothing too big or small
For a family travelling with a toddler, we had the right brand of milk waiting in the fridge on arrival. For another guest, we organised Grand Prix tickets as an anniversary surprise, with complete discretion.
Meet our lovely Huben team
The difference isn't what we book. It's how we look after you.
Huben has never been about one person. We're a small team of travel specialists who share the same belief: every holiday deserves care and attention. Some of us are there from your very first conversation, shaping the journey you've been imagining. Others work quietly behind the scenes, looking after every booking, reservation and detail.
And while you're away, we're still here, keeping an eye on your trip and ready to step in if plans change. We never set out to be the biggest travel agency. We set out to be the one people enjoy walking into, trust completely and recommend to the people they care about.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know... and a few things you didn't know to ask.
Does it cost more to book with Huben?
No. Using a travel agent costs you nothing extra: you get expert planning and exclusive perks for the same price you'd pay booking it yourself.
Where is Huben Travel based?
Our Travel Lounge is at 5 Church Street, Cobham, Surrey KT11 3EG, and we also have an office in Pickering, North Yorkshire. You're welcome to pop in, but we're just as happy to plan your holiday by phone, video call or email, wherever you are in the UK.
Is my money financially protected?
Yes. Flight-inclusive packages are protected by the ATOL scheme and you'll receive an ATOL Certificate, so in the unlikely event of financial failure you won't lose your money or be stranded abroad. Packages without flights are protected through our trust account with Protected Trust Services.
What happens if my flight is cancelled or delayed?
We stay one step ahead. We monitor your flights and will contact you if anything changes before you travel. If something happens while you're away, call us straight away and we'll work quickly to find a solution. This is exactly when having us on your side makes all the difference.
Do you arrange family holidays?
We love them. Travelling with children needs a different kind of planning, so we think about everything: family room layouts, kids' clubs, children's menus, cot hire, pushchair-friendly transfers and our own Explorer packs for little travellers.
Do you plan LGBTQ+ friendly holidays and honeymoons?
Yes, it's where Huben began. Ben and Hugh started the company in 2019 planning LGBTQ+ honeymoons, and we know which destinations and hotels are truly welcoming.
Can you look after guests with additional needs or reduced mobility?
Absolutely. From accessible rooms and airport assistance to hotels with the right facilities, we'll ask all the right questions and make sure everything is in place long before you travel.
Can you arrange a twin-centre or multi-stop itinerary?
Absolutely. Some of our most memorable itineraries combine two or three very different places: a safari with a beach finale, a city break with a coastal escape, or a journey through several countries. We organise road trips too.
Where to next?
It starts with a chat. No forms or algorithms, just a friendly conversation. Call, email or pop into the Lounge, and one of the team will take it from there.
